How I work with you

I am a psychologist, an integrative counsellor and a psychotherapist. An integrative counsellor is not tied to a single theory. That means together we can create a therapeutic plan that works  for you and your needs.

I mostly draw from three main "schools of thought": person-centred, psychoanalytic and cognitive behavioural therapy. If you have a preference I will do my best to honour that.

No matter what the counsellor's theoretical orientation, decades of research has reached the conclusion that the quality of the relationship between a therapist and a client is a far more important contributing factor for a positive outcome.

It's important that we both feel that we can work together and usually 1 or 2 sessions are enough to determine if I am the right therapist for you.

Therapy can be short-term (6 sessions), long-term (12 sessions) or open-ended. However, it is important to remember that therapy is not a quick fix and how long it will take to reach your goals depends on many factors such as how much you engage, the complexity and number of goals you want to achieve, and your readiness to start therapy just to name a few.

I am especially aware of issues that are common within (but not exclusive to) the LGBTQ community, such as chemsex, loneliness, sexual health and more. I also have experience of working with people who suffer from chronic physical illnesses.

Therapy is offered in English or in Greek.

My fee for my central london practice at EC1V 8AB is  £65 per session and £50 per session at my North London practice at N7 6LA. Sessions last for 50 minutes. Some concessions might be available if you are unemployed and/or on benefits, or if you are a full-time student.

Appointments are available Monday-Saturday from 7:00 am - 09:30 pm.
